We're so glad you've chosen to visit Nora Bella. Hopefully, we've helped you find the perfect handmade baby gift or baby shower gift!
We are knitters, painters, crocheters, seamstresses and toy makers, all of whom find a common joy in crafting and the desire to share the fun of a lovingly handmade object with others. Enjoy our store!
Andria and Elaine of the original Nora Bella store are a mother and daughter pair. Elaine is the seamstress (you'll find her gorgeous flannel bibs in our shop) and Andria is the painter (specializing in wall letters, paintings, and hand-painted clothing). Andria's two-year-old daughter Nora, the store's namesake, serves as Director of Morale. Come visit our blog: http://norabella-baby.blogspot.com.

Nancy of KibblesnKnits makes many of the hats and onesies you will find in this store. Once a much-loved high school Spanish teacher, she is currently a much-loved stay at home mom to two small children. Nancy writes: I do a lot of crafts but my true loves are knitting and sewing. I've been sewing on-and-off for 20 years and knitting constantly for 10. I love to knit or sew things and then decorate them with appliques, patches, and fabric paint. I'm also learning to spin my own yarn! That's some fun stuff. Check out my blog: http://kibbles-n-knits.blogspot.com

Our knit hats are primarily the work of Butterfly Design. The artist writes: I started knitting in grad school to keep my fingers busy so I could concentrate on the lectures. My friends got sick of me giving them scarves as gifts all the time, and then they started getting married and having babies, so I started making gifts for the next generation.
I love the creative outlet of designing my own hats, and as a children's librarian, I love the connection of wearable art and picture book art. So take a look, and enjoy a bit of whimsy!

Our pinafores and bibs in gorgeous, bohemian fabrics are the handiwork of Rebecca of Lily Sky Designs. You can view more of her work at http://lilyskydesigns.blogspot.com. Evelyn says, I craft unique and eclectic items featuring retro, vintage, asian, and reproduction fabrics with beautiful rich colors and patterns. These items can help provide visual and tactile stimulation essential to baby brain development. I brought my love of deep rich colors and textures into my baby's life and she craves it now. I hope your baby will too!

Evelyn of Mon Petit Soleil designs the gorgeous felt cakes and cookies we sell in our shop, as well as some very fashionable hair clips. She writes, I love handmade toys and hair accessories for children. For the longest time, I couldn't find anything that would work well for my little girl Carmel so, I started making them for her.
I have since started consigning my products to several baby boutiques under "Mon Petit Soleil" (French for "My Little Sunshine") and I am hoping to venture into other accessories for children in the years to come.

Our whimsical sock dogs, as well as some clothing, blankets, and bibs, are the work of Doodlebug Finery, who describes herself as: ...mom to sophia french major fabric-obsessed trying to avoid getting a "real" job by making stuff into the wee hours while sophia sleeps...
